Whenever we produce media or events that put a spotlight on artists or celebrate our community, we do so with an extremely high bar. Our aim was to set a new standard for what an NFT conference could be. Unfortunately, after several weeks of sales data, conversations with sponsors, and feedback from our community members, we have been forced to recognize that now is not the right time to achieve that vision.
Everyone who purchased a ticket or upgrade has been issued a full refund (including transaction fees) directly to the purchasing wallet. Your digital receipt NFT will remain in your wallet.
If you bought a ticket and paid for flights or accommodation which you no longer want but which cannot be canceled, or which incur a cancellation fee, you can submit a request for reimbursement below. We are unable to offer reimbursements for individuals who had not yet purchased a ticket, or who arranged their transport after the cancellation announcement date (February 20th).
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this will inevitably cause to those hoping to attend.
We are not announcing anything at this time.
You should receive a full refund, including transaction fees, by EOD (PT) on February 20th. This will go to the wallet that paid for the ticket/upgrade. Please contact the team if you did not receive your refund, including your wallet address and tokenID for your ticket(s).
Your room will be cancelled and fully refunded if you booked through our site. For those who booked through our rates and still plan on being in LA despite the conference cancellation, please contact [email protected] and we will help with rebookings.
We will be refunding cancellation fees for accommodation or flights for ticket holders after they have been canceled. Any other expense requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We will be accepting refund submissions until March 13th.
Your receipt NFT will stay in your wallet as-is, including the trading block.
We know there are people who fully intended to join the conference but simply hadn't bought a ticket yet. However, data we had collected (including hotel bookings) suggested that there were also a large number of people who had already claimed tickets but did not intend to attend. Based on that, we didn't feel confident we would have a large enough audience to support the experiences we had planned.
Please send any other questions to [email protected] and we'll do our best to help. If you don't have a question but would like to share feedback, the best way to do this is via this feedback form.
Without a conference, we have no way to replace the ticket. That said, expect dedicated PC events this year that will be offered free of charge. We've also added a Collective Lounge in NYC on April 13th during NFT NYC.
Yes, of course. Please see our events website to check out our upcoming PROOF official and community-led events.
