Overview
This mystical Moonbirds world is brought to you by Portuguese artist Camila Nogueira. It shows the journey of a Flower bird as it explores its surrounds—meeting friends from the Ladybirds, Dead Birds Society, Hot Wings, Owlchemy, Space Birds and many other subparliaments along the way.
She couldn’t help but shout out Conrad Roset, the artist behind the game “Gris”, as a big reference when creating this piece. Him, Eyvind Earle, Moebius and Hayao Miyazaki were her biggest inspirations. She holds these legends near and dear to her heart, for helping her shape her art and become the artist she is today.
With her work Camila seeks to create magical, surreal worlds that she would love to live in. She first came to prominence in the NFT world when SuperRare featured her as a new artist in September 2021, and has since launched work on SuperRare and Nifty Gateway as well as collaborations with communities World of Women and Capsule House.
