Introducing COMMAND+A: a dedicated monthly art contest tailored exclusively for the Proof ecosystem.

Our mission? To infuse a monthly dose of engagement and fun while providing the artists within the community a spotlight to be seen creatively.

COMMAND+A successfully launched on September 1st. We now seek Lunar Society funding for monthly artist rewards, marketing, and platform development.

What is it?

Command+A is a monthly art contest exclusively for the Moonbirds community (with potential expansion to Mythics holders). The platform has already been developed and successfully launched on Sep 1st 2023, featuring the first month's contest with 24 original artworks. Explore the winning artworks on our CommandA.xyz

Command+A's objective is to provide a platform for lesser-known artists within the Moonbirds community, giving them visibility and exposure to the Proof ecosystem and the broader web3 audience.

Each month, the winning artist receives all mint proceeds and is also showcased in official Proof comms. The main aim of this proposal is to ensure a monthly minimum payment of $2,000 USDC to the winning artist. This request for funding will enable us to provide a monetary prize to the winning artist each month, enhancing community engagement, and also maintain a reserve for website maintenance, ongoing development, and marketing efforts.

Each month kicks off with the announcement of a fresh theme for artists to freely interpret. Over the first two weeks, any Moonbirds holder anonymously submit their artwork. Subsequently, we open the voting phase, where the community, with each Moonbird allotted 5 votes, selects their preferred pieces while artist identities remain concealed.

The winning artwork is announced on the 19th of each month, with the artist's identity still undisclosed. Minting of the winning piece starts on the 20th of each month, but it's crucial to emphasize that minting is exclusively available to those who cast their votes for the winning artwork. Lastly, on the 25th of each month, once minting concludes, we unveil the artist's name.

About the team

Command+A is the brainchild of the four horsemen of Dead Birds Society: theMikeElf, SourPapi, Omri, KevBro. We came together at the dawn of Moonbirds and have built a lasting sub-parliament. Our achievements include two successful projects (Ghouls, Lostbirds), an investment club (Dead Pool), and the organization of numerous in-person events.

Our track record shows we are dedicated to web3 and are huge Proof supporters. We excel at fostering engagement and persistently building even in a down market. With our combined expertise in art, web3 development, graphic design, and project management, we constitute an ideal team to steer this project toward sustained success.
