"MähKid" represents a dynamic Fashion & Illustration Launchpad and an in-real-life showcase for our two distinctive brands, consisting of Mahdest, a contemporary modestwear label, and Kidelt, an innovative muse marketing tool and Fashion Community Resource Hub.This ambitious initiative serves as a pivotal catalyst for our continued growth and development, situated at the unique convergence point of slow fashion, fine art, the digital realm, and the transformative potential of blockchain technology. Over the past few years, we have self-funding our endeavors through actively participating in the art and fashion industries, engaging in a diverse array of creative endeavors, including product development, art direction, sample making, pattern making, wardrobe styling, bespoke creations, and more. We envision this grant as a pivotal stepping stone that will elevate not only our own trajectory but also that of our thriving indie community on a global stage, all while enriching the diverse portfolio of Proof Collective. For us, being an artist isn't just a profession; our life's journey as artists finds its embodiment in MähKid, where creativity knows no bounds.
Project Overview:
Our primary goal is to onboard Dleidy, an emerging indie fashion designer and illustrator, onto the blockchain, thereby propelling her career through a debut fashion showcase and art exhibition during LA Fashion Week; preferably at the Foundry. This grant serves as the foundation for constructing a web 3 native and web 2 friendly slow fashion brand, aiming to blend the inherent collectibility found in fashion, such as Couture, Thrift, and Hypebeast culture. We are hoping to use this moment as a catalyst to push Proof to the forefont of the digital art renaissance again with the focus on tokenization of indie fashion. We are connected to network of people in art, music and fashion waiting to see a success in the space to truly dive in; we are willing to take a risk.

About the team
We are Mähdest, a husband and wife duo, she is the lead fashion designer and illustrator and I am the production manager, social media manager, design assistant, artist and investor; we met in fashion industry in 2012 and have worked together ever since. Over the past few years, we have self-funding our endeavors through actively participating in the fashion industries in NYC and DMV, engaging in a diverse array of creative endeavors, including product development, art direction, sample making, pattern making, wardrobe styling, bespoke creations, and more.

What are the risks?
It could be we can’t hit the whole tour, so we focus on one location.
It could be time crunch in terms of creation of art and clothing, so we monitor our time and make adjustment to the size of the collection.
We understand life can be tricky, and prepared to adjust to execute the barebones of this mission by any means, a Art Show and Fashion Showcase.
We both have a list of skills that will save cost, a lot will be done in house, and with volunteers
