Real immediate utility for the holders and the brand, 3D avatars unlock content creation and digital identity to a whole new level beyond what 2D PFPs can. The whole IP will get a push forward with the ability to do so many things that weren't possible before. The holders will be able to use their avatars in more ways they ever could with the original 2D.

Assessing the Moonbirds collection, its complexity, number of avatars and number of traits, we’re confident we can produce it in 8 to 10 weeks. Our way of approaching these developments is always divided in these stages: get a couple of full avatars produced to verify aesthetics and feel, produce every single trait in 3D separately, assembly into the trait combinations of the collection, quality assurance and delivery/distribution. For collections that have upgradeable contracts we can offer support to update the metadata to include the new avatars, for collections where it’s not possible we still offer onboarding them into the VIPE platform so that holders can access their avatars. Since Moonbirds is cc0, we’d provide free access to them.

3D Avatars of all the Moonbirds

This would pay for the team involved in producing and delivering the 3D avatars. We’ll assign one of our character art teams, a rigger, an animator and a 3D programmer to the project. This is all in-house on-site. This is an experienced team that has done this type of delivery many times before, our internal processes are already created so we don’t need to figure out how to make the 10,000 avatars, we’ll simply do it. Additionally, if the community is interested, we’d like to make proposals for the Moonbirds: Mythics and also produce custom Moonbirds guides on their 3D avatars. The budget is pretty tight for the team that will be involved but we really want to see the 10k Moonbirds come to life as 3D avatars and unlock a million new possibilities.

In order to actually benefit holders and stock the Talons Marketplace, the team should transfer all Lunar Society funds and claw back any distributed funds (where possible) that haven't produced a product or utility.

The design of the contest tends to catalyze collaboration and community, and i deeply believe that that is, inherently, a strong vehicle for minimizing risks. It is not about the money, it is about the energy that is moving through the relationship that we have to it.

The prizes for the art are just an excuse for people to explore their art.

That being said, it would be a bummer if:

a) Not enough artists participate
b) I am not able to find the proper people to represent the project in each city
c) No sponsors for every one of them
d) The quality of the art submitted sucks
e) People not understanding what Anky is

Each one of these mitigated by:

a) A clear and straightforward mechanism for people to apply and understand what this is about. Low barrier to entry.
b) Working with artists in order to find who are the people that they respect. This being an entry point to finding who to work with.
c) Making everything low-cost and community driven so that a big budget for the actual gallery event is not necessary. The focus is on the art, and the process of the different artists.
d) This will sort itself out as the process for creating it lasts for 96 days and people will share their work in social media, which will get more people inspired by creating their piece to submit.
e) Strong clarity in order for me to clearly explain what "an anky" is, and which are the guidelines that determines if something "is an anky" or not. I believe there are no boundaries to this, though.

The design of the contest tends to catalyze collaboration and community, and i deeply believe that that is, inherently, a strong vehicle for minimizing risks. It is not about the money, it is about the energy that is moving through the relationship that we have to it. The prizes for the art are just an excuse for people to explore their art. That being said, it would be a bummer if: a) Not enough artists participate b) I am not able to find the proper people to represent the project in each city c) No sponsors for every one of them d) The quality of the art submitted sucks e) People not understanding what Anky is Each one of these mitigated by: a) A clear and straightforward mechanism for people to apply and understand what this is about. Low barrier to entry. b) Working with artists in order to find who are the people that they respect. This being an entry point to finding who to work with. c) Making everything low-cost and community driven so that a big budget for the actual gallery event is not necessary. The focus is on the art, and the process of the different artists. d) This will sort itself out as the process for creating it lasts for 96 days and people will share their work in social media, which will get more people inspired by creating their piece to submit. e) Strong clarity in order for me to clearly explain what "an anky" is, and which are the guidelines that determines if something "is an anky" or not. I believe there are no boundaries to this, though.

Because there is a fire inside me that wants to be brought into life through initiatives like this. That bring our communities together. That represent us under an umbrella that doesn't differentiate between black and white, but that just pushed the human spirit through the power of creativity.

I have walked that path, building Anky step by step. Moment by moment. Sharpening the idea, bringing more clarity into what this idea wants to turn into.

I have the clarity. I have the strength. And i have the voice. I can talk about the underlying energy that gives birth to Anky (and that will inspire the artists to create their pieces) all day long, because i've walked the path of self inquiry myself.

All of my life is devoted to the quest of truth, and this is just a necessary consequence of that. The fire is just too hot, and i promise you that i will make something that will make an impact if you trust in me.

I'm asking for 48k. This means 6k for each venue. The most important expense from this will be for the prizes (3.5k) and paying the person that will be in charge of the event for their participation (1.8k).

The idea is to incentivize each one of these persons to get their local community going on this, and hopefully to get funding to create an event that will be awesome. It is encouraged for people to look for ideas on how to generate those connections.

I am a programmer and i can do all of the web3 related stuff (creating custom smart contracts for this, creating the platform where to submit the art, etc), and part of the rest of the money will be used for these purposes.

A cross-latin american art contest (in 8 different cities) that blend the iconography of Anky, its lore, and its intention with the culture of that specific place in the world.
